四、六年级英语教学工作总结AsanelementaryschoolEnglishteacherIbelievethatnotonlydidIaccomplishthegoalsthatIsetouttoachievebutIalsolearnedalotwhileteaching.Itisessentialtoreflectonthepastsothatinthecomingyearsonecanmakeadjustmentsanddobetter.ThereforethisarticleisareflectionofmysixyearsasanEnglishteacherforgradesfourtosix.FirstlyIwouldliketostartwithwhatIbelievetobeacriticalcomponentofteaching-establishingrapportwithstudents.Ihadtotaketimetogettoknoweachstudentlistentotheirstoriesandunderstandtheirbackgrounds.Thisenabledmetoformastrongbondwiththemandcreateanenvironmentthatisconducivetolearning.Iwouldrecommendthateveryteachertakethetimetoestablishagoodrelationshipwiththeirstudentsespeciallywhenteachingaforeignlanguageasithelpsstudentstobemoreconfidentandlearnbetter.SecondlyIfoundthatusingreal-lifesituationsandintroducingthestudentstodifferentcultureswasaneffectiveapproachinteachingEnglish.Iusedvideossongsandotherresourcestomakethelessonsmoreinteractive.Bringingdiverseculturesintotheclassroomwasnotonlyeducationalbutitalsohelpedtobroadenthestudentsworldview.ToachievethesegoalsIhadtocreateengaginglessonplansthatwereappropriateforeachclass.Onetipthatworkedformewastotakethestudentslearningobjectivesandinterestsintoaccount.ForinstanceIwouldincludeactivitiesthatwerecenteredontheirinterestsorhobbies.AlsoIutilizedgamesandgroupassignmentswhichmadelearningfunandinteractive.Continuingfromtheabovepointgradingandassessmentareessentialtoolsnecessarytoevaluatehowwellthestudentshavelearned.IusedacumulativeapproachwhereIlookedattheworkdonethroughouttheschoolyearandusedthedatatogradefairly.AdditionallyIwouldkeeptrackofeachstudentsprogressandshareitwiththeirparentsfortransparencypurposes.LastlyasateacherIbelievethatlearningisatwo-waystreet.ThereforeIencouragedmystudentstoaskquestionsanddiscusstopicsinclassfreely.Thiscreatedacollaborativelearningenvironmentthatallowedforcriticalthinkinginnovationandcreativity.IwasalwaysopentofeedbackfromthestudentsandIusedittoimprovemyteachingmethods.InconclusionmyyearsofexperienceasanelementaryschoolEnglishteacherhavebeenfulfillingandIhavelearnedalot.Creatingagoodrapportwithstudentsutilizingreal-lifesituationstoteachgradingfairlycreatingengaginglessonplansandsharingthelearningexperiencewithmystudentshavebeenthekeystomysuccess.Iamgratefultohavebeenpartofthisnobleprofessionandlookforwardtocontinuedsuccessinthecomingyears.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
