机电专业实习报告实践中的收获IntroductionDuringtheinternshipasamechanicalengineeringstudentIwasabletogainalotofpracticalexperienceandknowledgeinthefieldofmachinedesignmanufacturingandmaintenance.AsidefromlearningtousedifferentmachinesandequipmentIalsohadthechancetoworkonvariousmechanicalprojectsundertheguidanceofexperiencedengineers.InthisreportIwillsharemyexperiencesintheinternshipthechallengesIencounteredandthethingsthatIhavelearnedwhichwillbeusefulwhenIentertheworkforceinthefuture.DescriptionoftheInternshipTheinternshipwasheldinamanufacturingcompanythatspecializesintheproductionofindustrialmachineryandequipment.DuringthefirstweekIwasintroducedtothedifferentdepartmentsofthecompanyandIwasassignedtotheassemblydepartmentwhereIworkedwithothertechniciansinputtingtogetherthecomponentsofthemachines.AfterafewweeksIwastransferredtothemechanicaldesigndepartmentwhereIwasabletoworkonvariousdesignprojects.IlearnedhowtousedifferentsoftwaretoolssuchasSolidWorksAutoCADandotherprogramminglanguagesusedinsimulationanddesign.Mymentortaughtmehowtoapplytheprinciplesofmechanicalengineeringandhowtoapproachdifferentdesignproblems.ChallengesEncounteredOneofthebiggestchallengesthatIencounteredduringtheinternshipwasthecommunicationbarrier.ThecompanyhadadiversepoolofemployeesandnoteveryonewasproficientinEnglish.Itwastoughformetoexpressmyideasandthoughtstosomeofmycolleaguesespeciallywhenitcomestotechnicalterms.HoweverIfoundwaystoovercomethelanguagebarrierbyaskingforclarificationandalsobyusingpicturesanddiagramstocommunicatemyideas.Anotherchallengewastheworkingenvironmentwhichwasnoisyanddirty.Themachineswererunningcontinuouslyandproperearprotectionwasamust.IhadtoadjusttothenoiseandensurethatIweartherequiredpersonalprotectiveequipmentsuchasglovesandsafetyglasses.ThingsLearnedTheinternshipprovidedmevaluableinsightsintothedifferentaspectsofthemanufacturingindustryfromassemblymechanicaldesignandmaintenancetoqualitycontrol.Ilearnedthateffectivecommunicationandcollaborationamongteammembersarecrucialforthesuccessofaproject.Beingadaptableandflexibletodifferentsituationscanalsomaketheworkexperiencemoremanageable.Irealizedthatlearningtousedifferentsoftwareprogramsandtoolsusedinengineeringcanbeadvantageousinthefield.Alsotheimportanceofqualitycontrolandadheringtosafetyprotocolsshouldalwaysbemaintainedtoensurethedeliveryofsafeandcost-effectiveproducts.ConclusionInconclusiontheinternshipprovidedmeaneye-openingexperienceintothefieldofmechanicalengineering.Iwasabletolearnnewskillsovercomelanguagebarriersandexperiencehands-ontechnicaltrainingthatcantbeattainedintheclassroom.IappreciatetheopportunitythecompanyprovidedandIcansaythattheinternshiphasequippedmewiththenecessaryknowledgeandskillsthatareusefulwhenIentertheworkforceaftergraduation.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
