初出茅庐的我优秀英语演讲稿DeardistinguishedguestshonorablejudgesfellowcontestantsandfriendsItismygreathonorandpleasuretostandbeforeyoutodayasacandidateforthisEnglishspeechcontestwhichisofgreatsignificanceformeasanovicespeaker.IamverygratefulforthisvaluableopportunitytosharewithyoumythoughtsonthethemeofStartingfromScratch.AsanewcomerinthisfieldoflanguageIamwellawarethatIstillhavealongwaytogointermsoffluencyaccuracyandpersuasiveness.HoweverIfirmlybelievethateveryjourneybeginswithasinglestepandeverysuccessoriginatesfrompersistenteffortsandlifelonglearning.ThereforeIwouldliketotakethisoccasiontoexpressmysincereappreciationformyteachersmyclassmatesmyfamilyandmymentorswhohavesupportedandencouragedmealongtheway.LookingbackonmyearlydaysoflanguagelearningIcanrecallhowdauntingandchallengingitwastocommunicatewithnativespeakersortoreadacademicarticleswithoutadictionary.Iusedtoshyawayfrompublicspeakingordebatingfearingthatmyaccentorgrammarmistakesmightembarrassmeinfrontofothers.HoweverastimepassedIgraduallyrealizedthattheseobstacleswerenotinsurmountableandthatIcouldovercomethembypracticingmorelearningfromfeedbackandembracingdiversity.ForinstanceIhaveparticipatedinseveralextracurricularactivitiessuchaslanguageclubsculturalexchangesandvolunteerprogramswhereIhadopportunitiestointeractwithpeoplefromdifferentcountriesbackgroundsandperspectives.Theseexperienceshavenotonlybroadenedmyhorizonsbutalsoimprovedmylanguageproficiencyandinterpersonalskills.Ihavelearnedtoappreciatethebeautyandrichnessofdifferentculturestorespectandtoleratedifferentopinionsandtoexpressmyownideasmoreconfidentlyandconvincingly.InadditionIhavealsosoughtinspirationandguidancefromvarioussourcessuchasbooksfilmspodcastsandonlineforums.Theseresourceshaveexposedmetodifferentgenresstylesvoicesandissueswhichhavehelpedmetodevelopmycriticalthinkingcreativityandempathy.Ihavelearnedtoanalyzeandcomparedifferentviewpointstoidentifyandevaluatecrediblesourcesandtousefigurativelanguageandrhetoricaldevicestoenhancetheimpactofmyspeech.MoreoverIhavereceivedvaluablefeedbackandadvicefrommymentorswhohavegenerouslysharedtheirexpertiseexperienceandencouragement.Theyhavecorrectedmymistakeschallengedmyassumptionsandpraisedmystrengthswhichhavemotivatedmetoimproveandtopursueexcellenceinthisfield.Ihavelearnedtolistencarefullytoreflectthoughtfullyandtorespondgraciouslytofeedbackwhichareessentialskillsforpersonalandprofessionalgrowth.ThereforeIwouldliketoconcludemyspeechbythankingeveryonewhohascontributedtomyjourneyoflanguagelearningandpublicspeaking.Ibelievethatthiscontestisnotonlyatestofmylanguageabilitybutalsoaplatformformetosharemypassionmyvisionandmysincerity.Ihopethatmyspeechhasinspiredyoutoappreciatethevalueofstartingfromscratchtoovercomeyourownchallengesanddoubtsandtopursueyourdreamswithcourageandperseverance.Thankyouforyourattention.第PAGE页共NUMPAGES页。
