一、课程性质与任务本课程的教学目的是通过专门、系统的听力技能训练和大量的多样化的口语练习和实践，逐步提高学生在日常生活和社会、文化生活中所需要的英语听说技能，促进学生英语交际能力的全面发展视听说课程不同于书面语教学，它要求学生课堂注意力集中，养成良好课前准备的习惯,课程以即时的英语电台播报的新闻和英语原版电视、电影等音像材料，充分发挥学生的学习兴趣、增强求知欲、发展思维，进行有计划的训练，使他们能熟练掌握各种英语听力技巧和策略，听懂不同体裁和题材的听力材料，增加对语境和语用场合了解，能较好讲述自己的理解和分析，具备用英语讲述和组织语言的能力以及能够针对特定语境和语用场合中的若干话题，进行分析、讨论、即时演讲等，提高对语言的综合运用能力本课程的教学依据“功能-交际”理论来进行教学，着重培养学生的英语听说和综合分析表达能力本课程教学时间为一学期，紧密结合读写教学，在一定的教学时间内完成听说教学内容,帮助学生学会通过视听来获取英语素材和相关社会文化生活信息，并能通过正确分析理解来强化语言运用能力，完成将语言运用从理论只是转化为自动运用的过程具体训练内容包括

1.电影节选；

2.英语电视节目本课程是语言输入与输出相结合的技能训练课程，后续课程有“高级英语听说

（2）”其中“高级英语听说

（1）”将重点围绕教材《高级英语视听说》（王镇平著，外语教育与研究出版社2006年）前7章进行；“高级英语听说

（2）”将继续围绕此教材8至14章展开教学
