一、设计背景《普通高中英语课程标准

（2023）》在“课程目标”中指出“高中英语课程应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础匕着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力，特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力；形成跨文化交际的意识和能力”中国文学博大精深，需要大量擅长英语的人才将中国文学，尤其是璀璨的中国诗歌推广出去西方文学也有太多的文学精华需要我们来学习，因此对学生跨文化的意识和能力的培养显得十分重要而本模块的学习对学生这一能力的培养很有帮助然而，现在的大多数高中生对于“快餐”文学越来越痴迷，他们鲜有时间和机会去阅读和欣赏外国文学中的诗歌，因此学生更无法体会诗歌的魅力同时，作为一名英语教师，曾专攻英美文学专业，急迫为学生带来一节诗歌盛宴，由此产生了这节课

二、文本分析本课内容是外研社版《新标准英语》选修8第六模块的《唐诗》这个模块围绕唐诗这一话题，进行听、说、读、写等技能的训练目的是让学生了解唐诗的同时了解西方诗歌，并作对•比，以培养学生弘扬和传播中华文化的意识本课的教学内容刀Powc/Poe〃y是该模块的第二篇阅读文章，在Readingand Vocabulary后进行它是一篇较短的说明文，365个字，共有四个自然段，文章结构清晰，段与段之间联系紧密文本以诗歌的魅力为中心，重点阐释了诗歌对于不同人群的好处此外，为了增加课堂的趣味性和让学生更好的体会诗歌的押韵，本课将The尸叽dPoa后面的练习题与Listeningand Speaking中的一篇节选自华兹华斯/Lonely as aCloud的诗整合成一个活动板块，力求做到语言及文化知识的输入与输出顺利的过渡

三、学情分析本次授课对象是本校高二年级的学生，学生具备一定的语言阅读理解和听说能力基本具备了阅读理解查找目标信息的能力，但是仍需要强化培养学生对于阅读后总结，归纳和加工相应信息的能力同学们尽管对诗歌这个话题比较熟悉，但是对于英语诗歌的欣赏和朗读比较陌生，尤其是写出较押韵的诗句就更困难了

四、教学目标经过本课的学习，学生能够达成如下目标

1.知识目标掌握文章中的重点词汇，例如poet,poem,poetry,therapy等•了解诗歌的魅力和作用•对文章整体框架有清晰的认识

2.技能目标能通过阅读课文，找出诗歌的作用•能从所读文章中提取关键词，得到重要信息•能根据本课学到的诗歌知识仿写简单英语诗句

3.情感态度与价值观•增强学生的跨文化意识，开拓学生视野，对英语诗歌有初步了解，并激发其继续探究的兴趣•培养学生积极向上的人生观和价值观，培养学生弘扬和传播中国文化的意识
