verybeautiful girl. Her beautyand elegancewas prominentunder herwhiteappearance andclear soul.Yes!I wantedto saythat she was sowhite andpure, and thiswhite could not beprofaned bydirt;she wasvery white, brilliant andamazing, and thiswhite couldchange thisworld intohappiness;she waspretty white, delicate andcharmingand thiswhite couldeven makeflowers feelshy! To mysurprise,I reallyliked/the repeatedplayed musicin thisfilm. The musicwas sowonderful, and couldlet usfeela deeptouch ofsadness.Although theplots of the story was romantic,I stillsmelt thesorrow, which controlledby fate. The plotsand thepictures wereseamlessly matchedup, the audioand videowith thefate of the duet, also paintedTess afatalistic color.Generally speaking, the mainmelody, the backgroundmusic and the blendingmelodywere interspersedin thisstory, and runwith atouch ofsadness, loneliness, continuousweak andhelplessness, indicated thatthe darkfate. The noveltold apure, loyal, intelligent, strikingly attractivegirl;Tess wasseduced byaso-called gentleman——Alec.Unfortunately, her idealscould notprevent herfromsliding furtherand furtherinto misfortuneafter shebecame pregnant.Forced by thegossips andthe churchs blame,Tess thoughtshe deservednothing good.In ordertoget ridof thepast, she decidedto goto adistant diaryfarm butstill thoughtshe wasof, guilty.Maybe Goddidn tapprove ofthis, because theLord gaveher someoneshe lovedwithher wholeheart——Angel Chare. They lovedeach otherdeeply.Somehow,Tess agreedto marryAngel.Soon aftertheir weddingAngel confessedthe crimehecommitted toa womanlong timeago andasked forTess sforgiveness.Tess wasnot atallangry andforgave Angelat once;in factshe wasrather happyand excitedfor shealsohad thingsto confess. She satand toldher pastto Angel, and hopingto beforgiven.But7she waswrong andAngel didnt listento herexplanation atall.Without Angel s love, nothing meantanything toher.Alec foundTess again and forcedher tostay withhim.At7last,Tess couldnt bearit andkilled Alec.Everything waschanged.Tess wasarrested forhermurder eventually. And thisstorywasended withthe deathof Tess.In thenovel,it reflected the Patriarchal. And Tess s fatheris oneof representativesofmale parentsofthepatriarchal society, who dominatethe wholefamily. Thus sentTess toDUrbervilles mansionand marrya wealthyman.Alec andAngel arealso endowedwiththe malechauvinism, which madethem hurtTess physicallyand mentally.According toTess, she wasa rebelledgirl.Firstly, she wouldnot succumbto socialpressures. The contestbetween corruptionand innocencetook placenot onlyin afield,1but alsoin thehuman sheart. In Tess s life, there weretwo men——Alec andAngel. Both ofthem hada greatinfluence tochange herfate.Facing Alecs force,Tess attemptstorebel him.And afterthe seducing,Tess decidedto leaveAlec andwork fora distantdiaryfarm. She usedher actionto proveher rebellionto theworld.Secondly,Tess killedAlecat last. This thingshowed herrebellion again. In thelatter part,as Anglereturned7with renewedloyalty andlove forTess,it becameapparent thatAlec strickhad considerablybroken downTess sloyalty toAngle.Torn apart, her shameandgrief causedher violentside toexplode;Tess killedher loverinamurderous rageoutof lovefor herhusband. In aword,Alec ofthe representativesofthebourgeoisie,he hadabourgeois stateapparatus, law, and ethics, asabackup. While Tessand hiscontradictions,it couldalso besaid thatthe workerswere oppressedandthespecificperformance ofthe entirecapitalist socialcontradictions. At thesame time, she wascoward. This characterwas alsoshowed ontwo aspects.First, her lovesfor Angel. As atypical nineteenthcentury progressiverepresentative,Angel rejectedthe valueshanded tohim, and setoff insearch ofhis own.His disdainfortradition whichwas anindependent spiritcontributes tohis auraof charismaand generalattractiveness. However,it mustbe pointedout wasthat he had not reallyjump outof hisareaagainst theold moral values, hehadnotreallydespised fromthe classprejudices, hewas stillupholding thedecadent bourgeoissocial customsand moralhypocrisy.Second, her secondstay withAlec alsopresents hercowardice.Tessssituation madeher veryvulnerableto Alecs persuasions. And shewas obviouslyheartbroken andneeded tobeloved morethan ever. She wasalso distraughtby her family sever-worsening financial7situation.Thus shebecame Alecs mistressfor thesake ofherfamily. When shefelt theopinionsof allthe sacrificeswas soinsignificant,as allacts oflevity, finally decidedtoangrily rebel.Of course,Tess onceexpressed herplainness angrilyby thelast lettertoAngel undera completelydisappointed condition.Tesss soulwas pureand hervirtuewas lofty, but inthe faceof bourgeoismorality, shewasregarded asthe typicaloffendpublic decency, serve tothe lasciviousexample.Tess wassuch astrong andbeautiful girl, she did nothing wrong, but inthe faceofpower andviolence, and shehad beento forbear. Finally sherebelled and she paid thecost oflife.Tesss lifewas ruinedbythetwo men;I thoughtAngel shouldbe responsiblemainly.Sometimes happinesswas reallycompletely inour hands,it waseasy to gethappiness ifwe forgaveother people. If thethoughts wereradical andstubborn,it wouldnotonly harmourselves, but alsodestructed ourhappiness.Angel hadbeen hauntingbecauseofthedeep psychologicalingrained traditionalideas ofethics;it personallyruinedthe happinessof Tesss life.Just imagined,if Angelwas open-minded andforgavethe pastof Tess, the tragicstory wouldnot happen, and Tessdidnotbecome amurderer.Angelsheart wasbound bya secularmoralvalues, and whatangry wasthat Angelhadthe samepast as Tesssbut hecouldnotforgive TessasTessforgave him, which notzonlyshowed thegender injustice, but alsoreflectedthesocial patriarchalthought atthattime.I wasso touchedby herstory afterread allabove thesewords. In ordertogetherlove Tesspaidthemost expensiveprice ofher, andshepreferred todo inthat way.Whatthe lovereally it is,itisworthy someoneto affordtheir livesfor itI donot know, and Ialsothink manypeople willhave nocertain ideaabout it.But theywill certifiedtheir loveintheir ownways, and whateverthey mightare. They deservedrespected always,I think.本文来源网络收集与整理,如有侵权,请联系作者删除,谢谢!。
