一、语篇分析语篇主题和主要内容What-—本单元主题为Thi ngsmade inChi na.文化知识主题是了解中国的传统文化元素，看到中国在世界经济竞争中的优势和短处Beauty inCommon Things是一^篇介绍中国传统技艺的阅读文章，以孔明灯、剪纸和泥塑三种中国传统技艺为载体，旨在给学生以传统文化的熏陶进一步巩固加深本单元的话题内容和目标语言结构一被动语态文章为总分结构，文段内部逻辑严密，渗透了一个重要的阅读策略Section B部分教学重点为培养学生运用所学词汇和被动语态简单介绍某件东西，如材料，产地，用途或者象征意义等；被动语态的使用和功能是教学难点一一语篇传递的主题意义Why本节课阅读材料的主题是传统艺术之美旨在培养学生阅读能力，除了学习新的知识点外，还能培养学生的阅读能力，训练阅读技巧从内容上来说，通过了解一些传统艺术品的制作过程以及制作材料，可以拓宽学生的知识面，提升学生的民族自豪感及文化自信（评-一文体结构、语言特点及功能H本单元话题功能为Talk aboutwhat productsare made of andwhere theywere made.目的是让学生了解常见的文章结构特点-先总体介绍，后细节描述本课的教学设计以英语核心素养的四维目标为出发点，教师通过设计不同梯度的教学活动，引导学生感受中国传统技艺之美，强化寻找文章结构的阅读策略，学习并实践思维导图的制作，引导学生发现美、欣赏美和创造美，同时培养学生用英语进行沟通的能力

二、学情分析九年级学生对于语言知识有了一定积累，能够理解文本基本内容，但大多数学生对文本的理解多停留在字面意义上，在文本的学习中教师应设计不同层次的活动提高学生学习和理解，归纳和分析，评价和创新以及写作的能力，在情感态度上积极引导分层次设计活动难度，鼓励不同水平的学生积极参与到课堂学习活动中O
