1、一般过去时的意义⑴表示过去某个时间或某一段时间内发生的动作或存在的状态常与表示过去的时间状语连用,如（冈才）（前天），yesterdays momentago,yesterday morning,last night/week,the day before yesterday（刚才），过去的时间（如）等just nowin+inl

2、一般过去时的句式结构⑴含连系动词的一般过去时的句式be
①肯定句主语其他.+was/were+我们上周的学校旅行很糟糕Our schooltrip wasterrible lastweek.
②否定句主语（或）（或）其他.+was notwasnt/were notwerent+昨天我不在家I wasntat home yesterday.
③一般疑问句主语+其他？肯定回答用主语否定回答用主语Was/Were+“Yes,+was/were.;“No,+wasn,t/weren,t.n昨天你在家吗？-Were youat home yesterday不，我不在家■No,I wasnt.
④特殊疑问句:疑问词（主语+）其他？+was/were+你的假期怎么样？How wasyour vacation（）含实义动词的一般过去时的句式2
①肯定句主语+动词过去式+其他.他们昨天玩得很开心They hada goodtime yesterday.
②否定句主语（或）动词原形+其他.+didnot didnt+我们没摘苹果We didn*t pickapples.
③一般疑问句主语+动词原形+其他？肯定回答用主语否定回答用主语Did+“Yes,+did.”;“No,+didnt”他们上周参观博物馆了吗？-Did theyvisit the museum lastweek是的，他们参观了/不他们没参观-Yes,they did./No,they didnt.
④特殊疑问句疑问词主语+动词原形+其他/疑问词+动词过去式+其他？+did+你在哪里买的这件礼物？Where didyou buythe gift【注意】在一般过去时的疑问句中，助动词后面的谓语动词应用原形did
3.动词过去式的构成⑴规则动词过去式变化规则如下:一般情况直接加一-ed wantwanted play—played以结尾的动词直接加一一c-d livelived hopehoped先双写词尾这个辅音字母，再一stop stopped以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词加-ed plan一planned以辅音字母加结尾的动词变为再加y y i,-ed study—studied worry—worried规则动词的过去式的读音也有规律可循请记住清后仅元浊之后读/d/;/t/,/d//id/
①清辅音优等后，要读如/p/,/k/,//s/,/J7-ed/t/worked,finishedo
②元音或浊辅音等后，要读如:/b/,/g/,/v/,/z/,/m/-ed/d/played,lived.
③或后，读如t//d/-ed/id/o started,needed.【助记】规则动词的过去式构成方法过去式构成有规律，一般词尾加-ed词尾如果有个直接加就可以e,-d辅音字母加变为加y,yi-ed一辅重闭作尾巴，双写之后加-ed不规则动词的过去式变化各异，没有统一的规则，但也并非毫无规律，下面介绍一部分动词过2去式的记忆规律
①动词过去式与动词原形一样如let-let,put—put,cut-cut.
②遇见改为如一一一i aswim swam,sing sang,begin begano【助记】将变为构成过去式的动词i a游泳唱歌后,swim sing开始坐下来，begin sit给点儿喝的吧，give drink就变为i a
③过去式以和结尾的单词如ought aught一一bring brought,buy bought,think-thought,teach-taught.
④中间去末尾加如e t一一一一feel felt,keep kept,sleep slept,sweep swept
⑤把变为如i Ooride—rode,drive—drove,write—wrote.变为如一@ow/aw ewoknow—knew,grow—grew,throw threw,draw—drew
⑦以结尾的词，把变成如
⑧连系动d dt build—built,lend—dent,send—sent,spend—spent词的过去式有两种形式，主语是第
