一、一般过去时的用法一般过去时用来描述过去发生的动作或存在的状态常和一般过去时搭配的时间状语有yesterday in2000,last week,in thepast等例如My fatherwasnt at home last night.昨天晚上我爸爸不在家There weren，t anytall buildingsin thepast.过去没有高楼They wentto thezoo yesterday.昨天他们去动物园了
二、一般过去时的结构和句式变化含有be动词的一般过去时1肯定句，否定句和一般疑问句肯定句主语+was/were+表语.否定句主语+wasn t/weren，t+表语W as/W er e+主语+表语？一般疑问句肯定答语Yes,主语+was/were.否定答语o,主语+wasn t/werent.【例】肯定句They wereat homeyesterday.否定句They werenot/werenJ t at homeyesterday.一般疑问句Were theyathomeyesterday肯定答语:Yes,they were.否定答语:No,they weren，t.⑵特殊疑问句
①对主语提问时:特殊疑问词+was/wer e+表语？【例】Who wasin theclassroom anhour ago一小时之前谁在教室里？What wason thedesk justnow刚才是什么东西在课桌上？
②对非主语成分提问时特殊疑问词+was/were+主语？【例】How wasyour lastweekend你上个周末过得怎么样？Where werethey tenminutes ago十分钟之前他们在哪里When washis birthdayparty他的生日聚会是在什么时候？There be句型的一般过去时

三、动词的过去式动词的过去式的构成包括规则变化和不规则变化规则变化通常以-ed结尾具体如下:构成规则例词一般情况下,动词原形末尾加-ed help-helped以不发音的字母e结尾的动词加-d live一lived以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有个辅stop-stopped音字母的动词,先双写这个辅音字plan-planned母,再加一ed结尾是“辅音字母+y”的动词,变ystudy-studied为i,再加一ed注意许多动词的过去式属于不规则变化，需要单独记忆，如果需要，请关注后，发送私信“1”，切记不是留言。
