1.先行词为指物不定代词everything,little,much,all,anything,nothing,e.g.Finally,the thiefhandedeverything thathe hadstolen.注先行词为指人的不定代词,可用whoe.g.Anyone/those whobreaks therules mustbe punished.
2.先行词前有形容词最高级、序数词包括last,next修饰时,用thate.g.This isthe bestbook thatI*ve everread.
3.先行词被theonl丁the very,the last,the same修饰时,用that0e.g.This isthe onlybook thatI wantto read.
4.先行词被all,any,every,each,few,little,no,some等修饰时,例如e.g.I haveread allthe bookthat yougave me.
5.先行词同时指人和指物时,用thatoe.g.We talkedabout thethings andpersons thatwe sawthen.
6.定语从句内容为解释名词的性质、概念时,需用thate.g.A planeisamachine thatcan fly.
7.主句是以who/which开头的特殊疑问句时e.g.Who isthe manis readingunder thetree以下情况,引导词用which,不用that先行词是物时,一般情况既可用that也可用which,但下列情况,只用which不用that
