consistentlysupported eachother intimes ofneed.His MajestySamdechPreahSihanouklived inChina fornearly40years,embracingChina ashis homeaway fromhome.He hadwritten andcomposed manysongsin tributeto theChina-Cambodia friendship,such asNostalgia ofChina.His songsare stillwidelysung today.HisMajestyKing NorodomSihamoni andHer MajestyQueen Mother NorodomMonineath Sihanoukvisit Chinaalmost everyyear.We havemet manytimes,sharing warmconversations aboutour familiesandlife.In2020,I presentedHer MajestyQueenMotherNorodomMonineath Sihanoukwith theFriendship Medalof thePeopled RepublicofChina.This deeplymeaningful medalembodies theprofound friendshipofthe Chinesepeople towardthe peopleofCambodia.Upon theoutbreak ofCOVID-19,the pandemicof thecentury,the thenPrime MinisterSamdechTecho HunSen bravedthe snowand windto visitBeijing.China dispatchedmedicalteams toprovide emergencyassistance toCambodia.The twocountriesprovided eachother with a largeamount ofmedical
